Suppose a single jersey fabric have actual dia 70 inch, actual GSM 170, Length shrinkage is -10% and width shrinkage is -3%, but required dia 72inch, required GSM 180, Length shrinkage below -5%.

1st we increased width by 2%.

So now actual dia= [(70×2)÷100]+ 70 = 71.4inch
